Peter Faulding is sure to deliver a super evening of intrigue. Peter Faulding is a world leading forensic search specialist and Chief Executive of Specialist Group International. Peter and the Specialist Group International underwater search team carry out police diving operations on behalf of six police forces across the south east. They have the unenviable but important role of locating and recovering drowning and suicide victims. It was the tragic death of  six year old Lucas Dobson who drowned in the River Stour in August 2019 that   led to Peter collaborating with Lucas’s parents Nathan and Kirsty to launch   “The Lucas Dobson Water Safety Campaign”. The goal of the campaign is to be able to supply 20 lifejackets and buoyancy aids to every school, which can be booked out like library books to pupils when going near water. Peter will deliver water safety talks over the next few months accompanied by Lucas’s parents. A water safety video will be produced in 2020 to enable this campaign to get  into all schools across the UK and hopefully part of the national curriculum to reduce drowning deaths in young people.

Along with Peter’s donated time to the campaign, The Astor Community  Theatre has donated this evening free of charge so that all ticket sales go directly to the campaign. A sold out evening will provide approximately  200 life jackets to local schools.
