You won’t want to miss this rare opportunity to be taken into the fascinating heart of forensic search and missing person and murder investigation with this talk by Peter Faulding and guest Mark William Thomas. Peter is a world leading forensic search specialist. Mark is a multi award winning investigative journalist, author and the host of the tv programme ‘The Investigator’ and  ‘A Great British Crime Story‘ on Netflix and regular contributor on Good Morning Britain. Peter will discuss his forensic search work on some of the most high profile missing person cases in the UK both on land and underwater. He will share cases, photos and his techniques for finding evidence that has gone undetected for years. Mark has been at the centre of some of the most high profile investigations of recent years involving serial killers and missing persons. He will take you on a gripping journey of discovery of his tireless research and investigation about some of his cases.

This evening is in aid of the Lucas Dobson Water Safety Campaign. Lucas was six years old when he drowned in a tragic accident in the River Stour.  Since then Peter has been working closely with Nathan Dobson, Lucas’s father and Baltic Lifejackets to promote water safety and get lifejackets into schools to book out like library books. The charity will be officially launched in February. All proceeds from the evening will go to the charity and James Tillitt from The Astor Community Theatre has provided the Astor free of charge. The 2 hour talk will be packed full of interesting photos not seen by members of the public before.
