For over 25 years, McBride’s Magic & Mystery School has been dedicated to creating excellence in magic. Founder Jeff McBride and the school’s Dean, Larry Hass will star in this special evening, and host performances by several of their favorite students.


Jeff McBride, named Magician of the Year by the Magic Castle in Hollywood, is recognized worldwide
as a foremost innovator and among the greatest magic teachers of our time. Alongside traveling the world to perform and teach his astonishing magic, Jeff has been featured on every major US television network, and most recently has been seen on Penn & Teller’s FOOL US (CW), Masters of Illusion (CW) Celebracadabra! (VH1), Mindfreak (A&E), and is the focus of Enigma: Jeff McBride—A Magickal Life, a one-hour documentary for Canada’s Vision TV. As a result of his life-long commitment to magic teaching and learning, in 1990 Jeff founded the McBride Magic & Mystery School in Las Vegas, which has grown to become the world’s leading center of magic education and mentoring.

Lawrence Hass, Ph.D., is Associate Dean of the McBride Magic & Mystery School. In 2010 he retired from college classroom teaching to pursue magic full time as a performer, teacher, writer, and publisher. Larry performs his artistic magic all across America, and internationally, at theaters, nightclubs, univer- sities, public conferences, and corporate events. He has also won many awards both as an inspirational teacher and writer about magic. His books include Inspirations: Performing Magic with Excellence (2015) and Transformations: Creating Magic Out of Tricks (2007). Larry’s work as a performer, teacher, and philosopher of magic has been featured in leading international media, including the New York Times, USAToday, National Public Radio, on the Discovery Channel, and in his recent TEDx
