Internationally acclaimed musical comedy cabaret sensation Miss Hope Springs plays the piano and sings songs from an award winning self-penned repertoire and tells hysterical tales from her disastrous ‘Ritz to the pits’ life in this unique 'laugh out loud-move you to tears' show. WinnerBest Cabaret - Brighton Fringe 2011, Best Cabaret - The Stage 2013, #1 Best Cabaret in Soho - TimeOut and Best Musical Variety Act - London Cabaret Awards shortlisted nominee 2014.
In 2016 a rave review coast to coast US tour was hailed ‘A triumph!’ (Cabaret Scenes USA). Still wearing the sequins she left the Pink Pelican Casino with in 1972, down on her luck never-say-die show business trouper Hope (written and performed by composer, lyricist and actor Ty Jeffries) brings you her smouldering blend of finger snapping pop, romantic rhumbas and sassy bossa novas. Educated at London’s Purcell School, composer, lyricist and entertainer Ty Jeffries is best known for his work in the world of cabaret as ‘One of the most important cabaret creations of the decade’ (Musical Theatre Review). His original songs are gaining attention on both sides of the Atlantic in both the cabaret and classical world. Ty appears regularly at Live at Zedel in Piccadilly and will be appearing solo at The Wigmore Hall in June 2017.
